Forensic Accounting is a highly specialized field of accounting that provides an accounting analysis that is suitable to use in a courtroom setting.  It encompasses both Investigative Accounting and Litigation Support.  The practical and in-depth analysis that we bring to a case helps uncover trends that bring to light the relevant issues.  Steve Staley holds the Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA) credential which is awarded only to CPAs who have received the training and who have proven to meet the qualifications.  He has significant training and experience using forensic financial methodologies and he gets results.

Forensic Accountants utilize accounting, auditing and investigative skills when conducting an investigation.  We are trained to look beyond the numbers and deal with the reality.  We are often retained to analyze, interpret, summarize and present complex financial and business related issues in a manner which is both understandable and properly supported.  Being familiar with legal concepts and procedures we can assist in legal proceedings, including testifying in court as expert witnesses as well as preparing visual aids to support trial evidence.

Whether the case involves criminal investigations, shareholders? and partnership disputes, matrimonial disputes, business economic losses or professional negligence our work is imperative to a well rounded and well presented case.
